This is a great check tweed belted jacket from the 1970s by Allander for the House of Fraser.
Made from pure wool tweed bouclé it combines shades of heathery purples, greys and berry in a check pattern to beautiful effect. Much like the colours found in Harris tweed.
It has a thin (0.5ins) fabric tie belt at the waist and button flap faux pockets. It has four buttons to the front.
It is fully lined in a purple nylon fabric. It is labelled dry clean only.
