This is an unusual jumpsuit by French designer Sonia Rykiel dating to the 1980/90s.
In black heavyweight pure wool jersey fabric it is unusual in its design featuring:
- cropped angular shaped legs at the hem
- an offset front opening to one side which buttons and extends below the waist line
- an offset collar which aligns at the side with the front opening and fastens with short ties
- sleeves that gather into the shoulder seam where there is a fine roll of padded piping over the shoulder.
- a drawstring waist with ties allowing adjustments to fit
- side seam pockets at the hips
Altogether classic, very wearable, with a quirk and quality that comes with designer Rykiel's signature style!
It is in excellent condition.
