1980s Plum Purple Silk Pleated V-Yoke Waist Trousers

The waistline at the centre back had an elasticated section 6.5ins. This has lost its elasticity with age and now sits flat as part of the waistband (see image). It does not affect wearibility.

There are also front pockets set in approximately 1inch from the side seams to add the 'poseability' factor! The intentional fullness creates a stunning, balloon-like drape that cascades beautifully into a sharp, tailored taper at the ankle—the quintessential silhouette of late-80s fashion. 

The internal label shows UK Size 10 (however this would have been with full elasticity in the back waistband section. We estimate these would still fit a UK Size 10 or 12. However please see exact measurements below for best fit.
