These are fabulous and very rare clip earrings by jewellery designer Dinny Hall. They date to the 1980s (possibly early 1990s).

They are crafted in silver and resin/acrylic. They feature a large pierced silver and resin/acrylic drop hoop suspended with a silver loop from a smaller resin clip disc again set with silver pierce work. The resin/acrylic is a neutral opaque white/off white shade.

They are in excellent vintage condition with firm clips. They are stamped on the back 'DJH' (for Dinny Hall). Her full name is  Deborah Jane Hall. Dinny is a nickname she adopted from a character in a John Galsworthy book. To see a full history of her career see below.

The clips are stamped 'Sterling'.

The resin/acrylic makes them relatively lightweight to wear.

The final image shows similar examples of her 1980s work.
