An exquisite study in mid-century textile design, this striking square scarf in what is probably an acrylic blend offers all the rich, rustic depth of a vintage wool without any of the scratch. However we cannot confirm the exact fabric content.

Dating to around the 1970s it features a meticulously layered, painterly  crosshatch design, which plays with overlapping strokes of burnt orange, sienna, and warm ochre, grounded by a structural espresso-brown frame.

The result is a trompe-l'œil that cleverly mimics a heavy autumn weave.

Perfect for tying at the neck, knotting onto a leather tote, or styling as a vintage headscarf.

In excellent vintage condition.  No pulls, stains, or structural flaws. Fringed edges are intact.

Let the warm, graphic textures elevate a minimalist silhouette. We love it folded into a triangle and tied loosely over a cream cashmere turtleneck, or paired with a sharp tailored trench coat and gold archival jewellery for an effortless Parisian aesthetic.
