These are a stunning pair of vintage clip earrings by French jewellery designer Edouard Rambaud.
Dating to the late 1980s they feature a domed faux mabe pearl set in a gold plated square frame which has a textured almost 'hand beaten/hammered' finish.
They are in good vintage condition with small signs of wear comensurate with their age but nothing that detracts from their wearability. They have firm clips. Each earring carries the 'Edouard Rabaud Paris' signed plaque at the back.
Classic statement earrings to add style to any outfit!

Edouard Rambaud was a renowned French jewellery designer and stylist known for his bold, statement-making costume jewelry collections in the 1980s and 1990s. His designs, often inspired by ancient Greek and Roman jewels, are highly collectible today.
Before launching his own brand, Rambaud worked as a designer and stylist for prominent fashion houses, including Yves Saint Laurent and Christian Dior. He founded his namesake label in 1984
His bold aesthetic gained significant attention, and his pieces were worn by celebrities and high-profile individuals like Madonna and Princess Caroline of Monaco.
Rambaud's jewelry is characterized by its large scale, heavy weight, and baroque-inspired designs. He frequently used heavily textured, gold or silver-plated metal, large crystals, semi-precious stones, and materials like leather and enamel and he deliberately employed rough textures and matte finishes to create a distinctive, "fluted" or "melting" effect.
