This is a gorgeous statement brooch which can also be used as a pendant by hooking a chain or ribbon through the loop at the back.
In gold tone metal with large glass carbochon stones and a large central cut glass stone in ruby red, it truly is stunning!
The stones are all claw set. It has a pin at the back with a roll safety clasp. The pin is slightly bent with wear/age but it's still functions perfectly.
It also has a metal hook loop/clip at the back to slide a chain or ribbon into to allow it to be worn as a pendant.
Note that being glass it's heavier than a normal brooch. So perhaps not one for your flimsier tops or knits! More suited for a jacket or coat.
Apart from the pin being slightly bent it is in excellent condition. See images.
