Red Linen Look 1960s Coat

Swinging sixties long red coat!

This coat has the sixties summed up. From its colour to its sharp military styling it is certainly a statement piece.

Dating to the late sixties (possibly early seventies) and designed by Gerald McCann it is fully lined with top stitch detailing to the collar, faux pocket flaps, sleeve cuffs and back shaped shoulder 'guard flap'. Fastening at the front on alternate buttons (to ceate an illusion of all buttons being fastened) it saves buttoning every button.....and that can only be good as there's a lot! (see photo of coat unfastened). The collar is a stand up mandarin collar.

It is made of a heavy linen look weave fabric and is fully lined in red. It is in excellent condition and has been dry cleaned.

Approximate current UK size: 6/8 (see measurements below)

Original vintage size (per label): 10
