A beautiful vintage scarf by French designer Pierre Balmain in a heavy silk twill.
We believe the scarf dates to the 1950s/60s. It features a striking floral design in greens and yellows on a pale turquoise background with highlights of grey/charcoal.
The flowers are chrysanthemum and/or daisies in a gorgeous painterly vignette.
The scarf has hand rolled edges and is in vintage condition. It shows signs of wear and age with some small marks in areas but is perfectly wearable. It has slight fade at some edges. Please view all images. It has also been gently hand washed and pressed ready to wear.
