This is a gorgeous colourful glass beaded bib or collar from Konplott by Miranda Konstantinidou. A real statement piece! We believe it dates to the early 2000s
It features tassels of coloured glass beads and rhinestone in differing shapes and sizes set on a metal mesh bib. The metal mesh bib is bronze in tone and the miriad of colours stand out brightly against it.
It fastens with a simple lobster clasp and has a 3inch length of adjustment chain. The necklace is in excellent condition.
It is signed 'Konplott by Miranda Ko' on the two square metal plaques within the chain. See below for more details on the Konplott label.

As a student jewellery and fashion designer Miranda Konstantinidou founded KONPLOTT in 1986. Her business is a 99% female company. Miranda Konstantinidou is seen as ‘The Queen of Colour’, having set trends in costume jewellery for many years.
Even today every single piece of KONPLOTT jewellery is designed by Miranda. Each piece is made by hand, and the collections are produced in limited editions. For the last 16 years Miranda has run her own manufacturing in Cebu. Nothing is outsourced, 100% of the items are made in house. That gives Miranda the freedom to constantly develop new production techniques. She combines ancient methods with new techniques and experiments with unusual combinations of materials.
