Mid century Dog Brooch

This is a really cute dog brooch dating from the 1950s/60s. 

Beautifully textured fur leads us to believe this could be an Afghan hound or a Shitzu. However it could be a stylised Poodle.

In gold tone matt metal it has green diamante eyes and a wonderful articulated serpentine four chains tail. It contains a lot of detail in the design. 

Despite having wagged it's tail a lot it is in good vintage condition.
