This is a gorgeous silver tone mesh snake necklace in the Whiting and Davis style. We believe it dates to the 1970s/80s.
The necklace wraps sinuously around the neck and clasps onto the snakes tail with a push clip under the snakes head (see pic). It can be clipped anywhere along the mesh part of the tail and hence adjusted to fit.
It is good vintage condition, showing just a little wear under the snakes head (at the back) and to the inside of the clip fastener. Neither is visible when worn. See pic.
