Silk Scarf

This is a stunning printed silk scarf. Made in Italy of fine silk jacquard, it features a central image of the Greek godess Medusa with a wide border of  figural plaques and decorative scrolls containing winged cherubs. Each corner is punctuated with smaller Medusa portraits. The jacquard pattern is tiny and circular in design (see close up image)

In a vibrant colourway of black, gold and rich vermillion (red with a hint of orange) it is in as new condition with hand rolled edges.  It is a beautiful statement accessory which I believe to be post 2000 but could be earlier.

It carries a small cloth tag confirming: Made in Italy, 100% silk and dry clean only.
