This is a beautiful vintage brooch by French designer Phillipe Ferrandis. It dates to around 1990s/post 2000.
It is made of silver tone metal with the word 'Love' engraved on a scroll. Suspended from the scroll are three charms; a faux pearl dropping from a heart in silver tone metal, an amethyst glass stone and a bronze lacquer coated cut glass bead.
It is in good vintage condition. On close inspection the glass bead and pearl show signs of wear but nothing that detracts from it's appeal and wearability.
It has a pin at the back with a roll safety catch.
It is signed on the back with the 'Phillipe Ferrandis Paris' plaque.
Philippe Ferrandis, is a renowned Parisian parurier (craftsman producing costume jewellery) who launched his brand in 1986.
He has collaborated with major fashion houses, including Chanel, Balmain, Nina Ricci, Givenchy, and Oscar de la Renta, creating signature pieces for their runway shows.
