A beautiful fine silk scarf featuring ballerinas by Jacqmar.
We believe this scarf dates to the 1950s and is made by Jacqmar. On a dove grey background it shows ballerinas in pastel shades readying themselves for a performance.
The artists style is soft and painterly creating a romantic feel. The images are in charcoal grey with touches of lemons, pinks and greens.
The scarf has hand rolled edges which are not as plump as they once were.
It is in vintage condition. It shows signs of wear and age with some small marks and thinning in areas but is perfectly wearable. Please see all images. It has also been gently hand washed and pressed ready to wear.
