Such a pretty pastel ombre top!
Knitted in a random pastel shaded yarn of peach, pinky/lilac and a silvery green giving an overall ombre effect
I believe this dates to around the 1970s but could be a lot earlier.
Short sleeved with a drawstring waist and neckline this is hand knitted in a slightly mercerised/perlescent yarn. Content unknown, but likely a cotton/synthetic mix.
It has a lovely scalloped hem in a lace knit and the same lace knit features at the contrast style knitted side panel and on the sleeves.
Images show the waist tightened and also with the drawstring relaxed. Each drawstring (neck and waist) has a single peardrop shaped pull tab.
We believe this will fit a UK size 8/10 but please see measurements below...
