Statement Floral Brooch
A Floral Stunner!
This is a rare and stunning brooch by Christian Lacroix.
In a departure from his usual themes of hearts or crosses, the colours in this unusual floral piece are vibrant and eye catching. It would look equally fabulous pinned on a plain or strongly patterned jacket/coat as it will never be a wall flower!
It comprises a large stylised gold flower with a smaller central orange and deep pink daisy like bloom. From this large flower two separate green resin leaves and a large amber gold coloured resin ball are suspended.
The brooch is signed at the back with the Lacroix stamp and dates to the 1990s.
It measures 3" wide and 4" deep when suspended horizontally (see picture where it has been rested on a bar to show how it would look when worn). It is in excellent condition.
