This is a pretty tapestry/petit point bag dating to the 1950s.
It has a lovely floral design to both sides and a decorative gold metal top frame with a firm clasp. It has a cream fabric lining. It also has a little mirror tucked into the interior.
The metal serpentine chain is 32 cm long.
It is in good vintage condition. There are a couple of small marks on the lining (see image) and some very slight discolouration in places on the exterior.
