Made by Beckford Silk in England it is100% Pure Silk (luxuriously soft with a fluid drape and a subtle, elegant sheen). Meticulously finished with hand-rolled hems it is a classic square.
It is in good vintage condition with colours remaining remarkably vibrant. However:
it has one tiny single thread pull at one border which shows in several places along the pull (See image). They are barely noticeable and they do not detract from its wearability as they are lost in the pattern.
also, although I have hand washed the scarf, in certain lights there appears to be some faint marks towards the centre of the pattern. They are not highly visible and do not detract from its wearability. I have tried to show these in the images and have had to alter the lighting to get them to show (see images). The images therefore exaggerate their prominence in order to show them. Please see other images of the full scarf where you can see that they are very faint.
The price reflects these minor issues.
