This is a very pretty carved real cameo brooch which can also be used as a pendant. The romantic subject of a seated winged nymph: a subject not often seen in a real cameo.
Set in a gilt goldtone oval metal frame it dates to the late Victorian/Early 20th century. It also has a safety chain pin attached.
It would make a lovely gift or an unusual addition to a cameo collection.
