This is a lovely pleated shorter skirt. One of those wardrobe staples that you'll pull out time and time again.
Made by Jaeger in the 70s/80s it oozes quality and expert tailoring.
It is fully pleated with the pleats stitched down for 5 inches from the waistband. This gives a neater finish at the waist without the bulk of pleats. At each side a small section of the waistband is elasticated to give a more comfortable fit. The size opening is buttoned with 4 buttons. The top one at the waistband being on a tailored tab. There is also a hook and eye to the inside. The opening is 10 inches long from the top of the waistband.
Made in Great Britain in pure wool crepe it is fully lined in an acetate/cupro mix fabric. The label indicates dry clean only.
It is in excellent condition.
