This is a black and gold patterned knitted jacket/cardigan dating to around the 1980s. It is by Richards Shops from their evening label 'Opera'.
Knitted in acrylic, nylon and metallic yarn and features a narrow knitted black edging border. It features a gold metallic pattern almost 'snowflake' like and typical of the era.
An ideal piece for dressing up or dressing down it features curved edges at the front giving a slight bolero style effect. It has sewn in shoulder pads to give structure but these can easily be removed should you choose.
It is in excellent condition. The cleaning label states 'wash as wool'.
