These are a pair stunning 1960s clip earrings by Weiss.
Each earring is designed with two 'flower buds' with a diamante band around the stems. A sign of quality is that each earring is a mirror image of the other. They are claw set with clear Austrian rhinestone glass crystals. Each 'bud' has a cut glass pear shaped rhinestone topped with sparkling clear glass round rhinestones.
They are in good vintage condition. However, as reflected in the price, there is some discolouration to the central stones. Although this doesn't distract from their wearability. One earring is signed 'Weiss' on the back.
Renowned costume jewellery brand Weiss was founded by Albert Weiss in 1942.
It is famous for its stunning quality rhinestone pieces, especially figural brooches (like insects & flowers), and expert use of color & aurora borealis crystals, making vintage pieces highly collectible.
