Typical of the 1950s/60s era this is a particularly pretty pale pink layered petticoat.
Originally used underneath dresses and skirts to make them stand out this would look fabulous worn on its own today.
Made from a stiff nylon organza it has an newly replaced elasticated waist. The skirt is double layered from the hip. The under layer has a further 10 inch double layer at the hem. The top layer has a 10inch four tiered frilled section at the bottom.
It is in excellent condition. However there are two tiny holes in one of the frilled tiers at the bottom of the skirt (barely noticeable). See images.
