This is a pretty pale cream/ivory lace edged net effect 'teddy' or camiknickers which dates to around the 1940s possibly 1950s.
With an unstructured fit it is a very pretty piece with shoestring ribbon shoulder straps. It features white lace around the top of the bodice and around the legs. The main fabric has a check/criss cross effect to the pattern.
It fastens with 3 Mother of Pearl (shell) buttons at the crotch.
Made in England the fabric is 100% nylon (per the label).
It is in excellent condition apart from two tiny pinholes, a tiny brown dot/mark on one of the legs and a very faint brown mark above the waist seam at the back. None of which are very noticeable and they don't detract from it's wearability. See images.
