This is a gorgeous pale pink silk camisole embellished with lace. It dates to the 1920s/30s.
Entirely handmade, this is such a pretty piece.
It has off white/pale grey lace around the top and a central lace panel all attached with faggotwork embroidery. The straps are narrow pale pink ribbon.
There is a narrow elasticated channel running around the bottom. There are no openings and it pulls on over the head.
It is in excellent condition. At some point the elastic in the waist band has been replaced as it looks too new to be contemporary with the camisole itself.
