1960s Reversible Pendant Necklace & Earrings Set

Amazing Sixties Monochrome Set!

This novel jewellery set by Celebrity dates to the 1960s/early 70s. It comprises a pendant necklace and two pairs of earrings.

The pendant is reversible. One side features four diamond shaped glass tiles in white and the other side is identical but in black. Each tile is set in a linked metal frame and the bottom three tiles have fringing in the form of metal drops.

The necklace has a very long chain which can be wound though the bale ring twice to shorten if preferred

Matching the necklace pendant, are two sets of pierced clip earrings. they are for pierced ears but feature a covering hinged clip back which secures the earrings on the ear. One set is in black the other in white. Again featuring a glass tiles set in metal frames with pendant drop fringing.

The set is in overall excellent condition. The chain is a slightly lighter gold tone than the pendant.

The earrings are both signed 'Celebrity' on the clip . The necklace is not signed.

It is very rare to find the matching set with both sets of earrings.

Very little is known of the history of the brand but its ususally always good quality. Most of their jewellery was signed or had signed hang tags. The latter could often become detached.
