1980s Mille Fleur Necklace
1980s Mille Fleur Necklace
Pretty & Rare!
A beautiful Mille Fleur 'Victorian' Faerie style necklace by Two's Company' which dates to the 1980s. Complete with its original box and velveteen insert.
It comprises intricately embellished braid/lace which features tiny floral beads, ribbon work, glass seed beads and a central cluster of three framed oval floral plaques.
It fastens on a chain with a lobster spring clasp.
The braid drop on each side measures 7" and the chain fastener with clasp is a further 2". The three plaques at the bottom are 3" wide and the drop from the top of the central plaque to the bottom bead is approx 3"
The necklace is excellent condition.
However the box is not pristine. Although intact, it is showing some signs of wear on the edges and corners. Also it has a small area in one corner underneath which has lost the top surface and the lid is slightly faded relative to the base (see image).
